Wired Roundup: 30 Gift Ideas for Star Wars Fans
US technology outlet Wired has published a gift guide for Star Wars fans covering toys, collectibles and household items. Writer Simon Hill's November update added a marble run, a jigsaw puzzle and an advent calendar.

US technology outlet Wired updated its gift guide for fans of the Star Wars film franchise on 1 November. It collects ideas for all ages, and senior writer Simon Hill says he picked his favorites from the many Star Wars gifts he has received and given over the years. The November update added a marble run, a jigsaw puzzle and an advent calendar, and refreshed prices throughout.
For collectors and builders
From Hasbro's Black Series line, the guide recommends a Boba Fett helmet. Hill says it strikes a balance between quality and price: good enough for collectors, yet cheaper than high-end movie replicas. The original version has been discontinued, so it and the re-armored edition now cost more.
In the Lego section, the highlight is the Smart Play Throne Room Duel and A-Wing set, which recreates the lightsaber duel from Return of the Jedi. Hill notes that it lacks authentic Star Wars sound effects.
Ravensburger also features, with a GraviTrax marble run built on a Death Star board and a 2,000-piece jigsaw puzzle showing more than 60 characters. The finished puzzle measures 39 by 30 inches. The board game Star Wars Villainous is recommended for four players aged 10 and up.
For home and everyday use
The list also includes a Displate metallic print marking the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, Casetify phone cases, Hedley & Bennett aprons, an Atari arcade cabinet standing 61.5 inches tall, and the book How Star Wars Conquered the Universe. For lightsaber fans, the guide suggests Padawan Outpost's Vader E6 model, which offers color changes, sound effects and a phone app. WIRED readers can get a 5 percent discount with the code WIRED5.
