WIRED is hosting its second WIRED@NIGHT event on July 23 at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. The highlight is an advance screening of the documentary “The Oldest Person in the World,” which won’t hit theaters until September. Directed by Oscar nominee Sam Green, the film is a decade-long journey following the ever-changing list of the world’s oldest living people, evolving into a meditation on time, fate, and the joy of being alive.

After the film, Green will be joined by WIRED features director Reyhan Harmanci for a conversation about longevity—what we can learn from these “super agers” and why people are obsessed with living longer. The event is co-presented with Rooftop Films.

General admission tickets are $22, but WIRED readers can get them for $12. Subscribers get early access to ticket purchases and an additional $10 discount. Use the code “WIRED” when buying tickets. Those unable to attend can sign up to receive updates on future WIRED events.
