Mona, a sub-brand of Chinese automaker Xpeng, has revealed its second model—the compact SUV L03. Following the earlier M03 sedan, the L03 is the first Mona model designed for international markets, including Europe.

In China, the Mona L03 is offered both as a fully electric vehicle (BEV) and with a range extender (EREV). Pre-order prices start at 143,800 yuan (approximately €18,500), with six trim levels available.

The BEV version comes with two battery options, offering a range of 525 or 625 kilometers according to the CLTC cycle. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.6 seconds, while 3C fast charging can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes. The EREV variant provides a total range of up to 1,330 kilometers, with up to 315 kilometers possible on electric power alone.

The L03 measures 4.65 meters in length and features a sporty fastback silhouette. Its design was developed by an international team led by former Ferrari designer Juan Ma López. The manufacturer positions the model as a stylish, technologically advanced SUV aimed at young drivers.

Standard equipment includes Xpeng's Turing artificial intelligence processor, while higher trims offer dual processors with greater computing power and a second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) system. Inside, there is a 15.6-inch central screen, a nearly 27-inch projection display, and a 20-speaker audio system. The front passenger seat is equipped with a massage function.

Cargo capacity stands at 539 liters, expanding to 1,640 liters with the rear seats folded. An additional 102-liter frunk is available at the front. The vehicle also features V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capability with 6 kW output for powering external devices.

Mona plans to introduce the L03 in 64 countries and regions within this year, marking its first model aimed at global markets.
