YIT Latvia completes sixth building of the “Silvas nami” project
YIT Latvia has put into operation the sixth and final building of the “Silvas nami” residential complex in Riga's Purvciems district, adding 64 apartments. Due to strong buyer interest, the project grew from an initially planned four buildings to six.

A new, final building has been completed as part of the “Silvas nami” residential project in Riga, with developer YIT LATVIA putting the sixth house into operation. In total, the project has added 366 new apartments to Riga's housing stock.
The new six-storey building contains 64 apartments. Unlike the previous five buildings in the project, the sixth house stands on a separate plot on Lielvārdes Street, though it maintains the same architectural style as the rest of the “Silvas nami” quarter. The building offers two- and three-room apartments ranging from 43.5 to 61 square metres.
Strong buyer interest
Reservations for apartments in the sixth building opened in October last year, and 60% of available units have already been reserved. Prices currently start from 117,800 euros.
Project expanded step by step
Andris Božė, board member of SIA “YIT LATVIA”, explains that the company originally planned only four residential buildings. As buyer interest grew and the potential of the Purvciems neighbourhood became evident, the project was first expanded to five buildings and later to six. He notes that handing over the final building marks an important milestone, concluding the entire project successfully.
