Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Kyiv's forces have improved their standing on the battlefield over the past 10 to 12 months. According to him, this progress has been recognised by Ukraine's partners in both the United States and Europe.

Zelenskyy further indicated that he anticipates Russia will move to mobilise additional troops for the eastern front once elections have taken place. He did not specify which elections he was referring to, nor did he provide further details on the current state of front-line operations.

The statement reflects Kyiv's continued emphasis on the resilience and gains made by its armed forces, while also signalling preparation for a possible increase in Russian military activity in the near term.
