Zelenskyy details Russian night attack: 11 wounded, including a child
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight on July 11 with over 120 drones and 12 missiles, hitting residential buildings, offices and a theological seminary in Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urges partners to speed up air defense deliveries.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy provided details of Russia's massive night attack on July 11 via his Facebook account. He reported that Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure even before an air raid alert was announced. In Kyiv, 11 people, including a child, were injured. The strikes hit residential buildings, office premises, and a theological seminary.
Additionally, the aftermath of the attack is being mitigated in Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv oblasts. According to Zelenskyy, Russia launched over 120 drones and 12 missiles during the night, half of which were ballistic. Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down most targets except for ballistic missiles. The president emphasized that he expects partners to fulfill promises regarding support packages agreed upon at the NATO summit, particularly licenses for Patriot systems and a joint European anti-ballistic project.
The Ukrainian Air Force specified that the attack involved 6 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 4 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles, 2 Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles, and 121 UAVs.
