Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media that Ukraine's defense forces struck several targets on Russian territory over the past day.

Strikes on chemical plants and Taganrog

According to the president, the strikes hit two chemical industry enterprises located in Russia's Perm and Samara regions. In Taganrog, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) fighters attacked an FPV drone production facility, a petroleum product storage tank, a radar station, and a Pantsir-S2 air defense system.

Zelensky also mentioned a target hit in the Black Sea but did not provide further details.

Earlier strikes confirmed

The president separately confirmed the results of other strikes carried out in recent days: a Su-33 fighter jet and two Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed in Russia's Krasnodar territory and Rostov region, while an oil facility in Perm was also hit.

It was also noted that on the night of September 12, Ukrainian defense forces struck the Tolyattikauchuk plant in Russia's Samara region.
