Zelensky: Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow is a fully justified response
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the massive drone strike on Moscow a fully justified response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the massive drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region, which took place on the night of June 18, is a fully justified response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities.
According to him, the Moscow oil refinery was hit for the second time this week. Targets were also struck in the Rostov region and in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Zelensky emphasized that this is an important result of Ukrainian warriors' work against facilities that sustain Russia's war machine.
The president also called on Russia to end the war and take the necessary steps in diplomacy. He said: "It is time the war ended, and Russia must take the necessary steps in diplomacy."
On the night and morning of June 18, nearly 200 Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region. This is the largest attack on the Russian capital since the start of the full-scale war.
