Zelenskyy: Russia provides Iran with satellite images of US military sites in Gulf
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has been actively surveilling Gulf states and US military facilities via satellite since early July, sharing the imagery with Iran, which correlates with Iranian strikes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on X that Russia has been conducting active satellite surveillance of Gulf states and US military installations there since the beginning of July. The imagery is subsequently provided to Iran. Zelenskyy highlighted a clear correlation between Russian satellite reconnaissance and Iranian strikes—both before attacks for preparation and after to assess damage. He specified that on July 19 and 20 alone, four air bases were within the interest zone of Russian satellites: two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait. Zelenskyy said he will instruct Ukrainian intelligence to share this information with Ukraine's partners.
