Zelenskyy to meet Trump next week in the US

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to visit the United States next week, where he will meet with US President Donald Trump. The visit is set for July 28, and as part of the trip, Zelenskyy is also expected to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham.

Senator Lindsey Graham died suddenly on the evening of July 11 at the age of 71. His office said preliminary examination findings pointed to damage to the aorta as the cause of his sudden death. On July 10, Graham met Zelenskyy in Kyiv and visited the production facility of defence company SkyFall, which manufactures several well-known drone models with various roles.

It was previously reported that Zelenskyy was considering making a diplomatic visit to the US in July. It was also reported that if the Ukrainian president is unable to attend the planned events, discussions are under way about who would lead the Ukrainian delegation to the US.
