Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have carried out strikes on an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, and a military-industrial facility in Penza. These attacks are part of the ongoing Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Meanwhile, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported a successful strike on hangars containing fighter jets at the Saki military airfield in Crimea. Detailed information on the damage has not been disclosed.

Russian forces continue to attack Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. In Kherson, a minibus was shelled, and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, gas stations were targeted. Authorities in several regions report casualties, including deaths and injuries, as a result of these attacks.

In addition to military developments, Ukraine signed an agreement with Sweden to purchase 16 Gripen E fighter jets. This deal will enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force.
