Zelenskyy Reveals Putin's Reports: Growing Dissatisfaction in Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shown reports that reach Russian leader Vladimir Putin, indicating that dissatisfaction with Putin is rising, support for the ruling party is falling, and protest sentiment is increasing across Russian regions.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released photos of reports that Russian officials deliver to the Kremlin. He stated that Ukrainian intelligence obtained documents regarding the internal situation in Russia. Zelenskyy noted that Putin rarely receives fully truthful information without embellishment. However, even the documents he sees allow conclusions: the projected indicators of Russians' dissatisfaction with Putin will continue to grow steadily. The Kremlin has already started preparing Putin for the idea that this growth cannot be stopped and will not plateau by September, when parliamentary elections are scheduled in Russia.
According to Zelenskyy, support for the ruling party is showing a steady decline. Additionally, Putin is being briefed on a significant rise in protest moods in Russian regions. The Ukrainian president emphasized that pressure on Russia for the war will continue and increase. He lamented that all public and non-public peace proposals from Ukraine have been met only with words about continuing the war.
Zelenskyy argued that the internal Russian situation should convince the opposite: that peace is needed. Ukraine proposes negotiating a dignified peace. He stated that if trends do not change, over time it may become necessary to reach an agreement with someone else in Russia – someone who does not hide from reality. This comes after Zelenskyy's open letter on June 4, in which he invited Putin to set a date and meet to end the war. Putin responded that he saw the letter but saw no point in holding a meeting.
