Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is losing the war and has problems both on the front and in the economy, which is why he will intensify attacks on Ukraine, especially using ballistic missiles. Zelensky made this statement while at one of the Russian strike sites in Kyiv.
The president added that Russia uses more missiles with each attack. When asked by journalists whether Kyiv would launch retaliatory strikes, Zelensky replied that a response would undoubtedly follow.
A combined Russian missile and drone strike on Kyiv overnight into Thursday killed at least 21 people and wounded nearly 90, according to Ukrainian officials.
