Zelensky: Trump's representatives to hold meetings in both Moscow and Kyiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said meetings with representatives of the US president are being prepared in Kyiv, with confirmation received of planned visits to both Moscow and Kyiv in the coming days.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on September 3 that meetings are being prepared with representatives of US President Donald Trump in Kyiv. He said he had just held a briefing with the team handling negotiations with the American side, noting that communication with them is happening virtually around the clock.
According to Zelensky, preliminary dates for the meetings have already been set. Ukraine hopes to welcome the US president's representatives in Kyiv, and confirmation has been received from the American side that meetings will take place in both Moscow and Kyiv. Zelensky expressed hope that the meeting would happen in the coming days, stressing that continued active US involvement is very important.

Earlier, Zelensky reported having a "constructive" phone call with Trump's representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during which their possible visit to Ukraine was discussed, among other things. Zelensky had also said that Witkoff and Kushner were preparing for visits to both Russia and Ukraine, suggesting that September could bring changes regarding the Russia-Ukraine war.
The Ukrainian president emphasized that his side is ready for substantive meetings with the American representatives in Ukraine.
