Zelenskyy: Ukraine to be able to produce Patriot missiles by end of 2026
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine expects to have the technical capability to produce missiles for Patriot air defense systems by the end of 2026.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told journalists during the Southeast Europe-Ukraine summit that Ukraine is working on licenses for Patriot production. He expressed hope that by the end of 2026, a Ukrainian team would be technically capable of producing American missiles.
Recall that during the public part of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit on July 8, Trump said the US would grant Ukraine the right to manufacture Patriots. Later, Zelenskyy noted that after the political agreement with Trump, technical work must begin to implement it.
According to media reports, production of American interceptor missiles for Patriot systems will likely be organized in a European country, with Germany considered as a possible location.
