President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces have for the second time struck an oil refinery in Ufa, over 1,300 km from the front line, and also hit a strategic military-industrial complex facility in the Penza region.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on social media that Ukrainian weapons have for the second time reached an oil refinery in Ufa, one of Russia's largest lubricant producers, located more than 1,300 kilometers from the front line. Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck a strategic military-industrial complex facility in the Penza region, which develops and produces components for missile armaments used by Russian occupiers to attack Ukrainian cities and communities. The distance to that target is approximately 600 kilometers.
Zelenskyy stated that these strikes are part of Ukraine's plan to impose long-range sanctions in response to Russia's prolongation of the war. He emphasized that Moscow must end the war and has all the means to do so. The president thanked every Ukrainian soldier who ensures the accuracy of Ukraine's long-range capabilities.
