Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that a Ukrainian strike had destroyed over 60,000 tons of munitions at a Russian Baltic Fleet arsenal near St. Petersburg. He made the statement after hearing a report from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Oleksiy Ivashchenko.

On Telegram, Zelensky noted that intelligence analysis confirmed that "the necessary targets from the list of Russian military production facilities were achieved." He emphasized that Ukraine's defense forces had precisely struck Russian enterprises producing radio electronics and other critical components for the Russian army.

Earlier, Zelensky had announced that on the night of June 6, Ukrainian drones attacked munitions warehouses and a base in Russia's Leningrad region. This strike, according to the president, is part of a systematic Ukrainian strategy to weaken Russia's military infrastructure.
