Zeltiņa Reaches Quarterfinals at ITF W-75 Tournament
Latvian tennis player Diāna Zeltiņa (WTA 447.) advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITF W-75 tournament in Cordenons, Italy, by defeating the second seed from Sweden.

Diāna Zeltiņa won her second-round match 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 against second-seeded Swede Kajsa Rinaldo Persson (WTA 217.). This victory earned her a spot in the quarterfinals and 16 WTA ranking points. In the first round, the Latvian defeated Italian qualifier Camilla Gennaro (WTA 676.) 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles, Zeltiņa and her Finnish partner Laura Hietaranta, seeded third, beat Italians Gennaro and Marta Lombardini 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals. Both pairs had a bye in the first round. The win gave Zeltiņa and Hietaranta 29 doubles ranking points.
In the semifinals, the Latvian-Finnish duo will face home player Sofia Rocchetti and Slovenian Pia Lovrič. The tournament in Cordenons is being played on clay courts.
