Strawberry Picking in Poland 2026: Growers Offer Up to €8.24 per Hour
Poland's strawberry season is in full swing, with growers actively seeking seasonal workers and offering wages ranging from piecework to hourly rates of up to €8.24 gross per hour.

The strawberry season in Poland has begun in earnest, and farm owners across the country are actively looking for seasonal workers. According to job advertisements in 2026, pay for strawberry picking varies widely, from piecework to hourly rates.
In the vicinity of Lubliniec, filling one strawberry crate earns between €0.94 and €1.18. Many farms still use a piece-rate system, where income depends on the amount of berries picked. Near Lublin, farms pay €0.59 per kilogram of strawberries, and additional workers doing farm chores can earn €5.41 gross per hour plus free accommodation. The season there runs from June to September.
Other farms recruiting for strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry harvesting offer monthly salaries from €941 to €1,883 gross. The ads emphasize that good physical condition is required, and a driving license is an advantage. Even higher pay is available in the Rawas Mazowiecka area, where work in tunnel greenhouses pays from €5.88 to €8.24 gross per hour, but accommodation is not provided.
Some growers try to attract workers with better conditions, such as strawberries grown on straw-covered fields, making picking easier. Still, piecework pay is mostly used. Seasonal income can also be earned from weeding, which pays about €1,177 gross per month, and employers partially cover transport costs. Compared to the previous year, wages have increased significantly.
