Bloomberg reports that Apple will introduce a touchscreen MacBook Pro and an updated iPad Mini on or around October 27th. The event would come two weeks after Apple's October 13th event.

Apple is preparing to present a new MacBook Pro with a touchscreen alongside a refreshed iPad Mini, according to Bloomberg. The event is reportedly planned for October 27th or thereabouts. If accurate, it would take place just two weeks after the October 13th event the company announced today, which is rumored to center on smart home products.
Event format
Bloomberg says the late-October showcase will be an online video presentation with an in-person element for the press. The outlet says Apple is planning a similar setup for the October 13th event.
What to expect
According to the report, Apple will unveil lighter MacBook Pro models with touchscreen OLED displays and an iPhone-style Dynamic Island interface. The company is also said to be planning MacBook Pro versions that keep the current design but use the M6 chip, which debuted with the new Mac Mini.
The iPad Mini, last updated in 2024, will reportedly get its front-facing camera moved to the landscape side of the tablet, along with a revamped speaker system.
Apple has not officially confirmed these details, which rest on Bloomberg's reporting.
