„Pea Bingo” enters second summer with free pea picking; farm participation triples
For the second summer, the „Pea Bingo” initiative offers free pea picking on farms. This year, interest has grown substantially, with nearly three times as many farms joining compared to last year.

The „Pea Bingo” campaign, launched last year, returns this summer with even greater momentum. The number of participating farms has almost tripled: from five in 2025 to around fifteen this year, reflecting rising enthusiasm from both growers and visitors. The activity allows city dwellers and families to harvest fresh peas directly from the fields at no cost.
Organizers have refined the rules based on last year's challenges. In 2025, pea picking had to be halted at one location because some attendees disregarded basic courtesy and farm regulations. To prevent such issues, stricter and clearer guidelines have been introduced for the 2026 edition. The goal is to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for both farmers and pickers. The initiative continues throughout the summer, with updates on participating farms available for those interested.
