Bear spotted in Zvejniekciems enters private properties; municipality urges caution
A bear has been sighted in Zvejniekciems, Saulkrasti municipality, entering two private properties. The animal has since moved to the neighboring Limbaži municipality, but local authorities warn residents and visitors to remain cautious.
The Saulkrasti municipal police reported that a bear was seen in the area of the "Jūras priede" camping site in Zvejniekciems. The bear visited two private properties before heading towards Limbaži municipality. The local government advises people to avoid staying or walking in the mentioned area and its vicinity unless absolutely necessary. Authorities emphasize the need for caution to prevent potential encounters with the wild animal.
