Latvian hockey club Zemgale/LBTU has added a 20-year-old Swedish defenseman to its roster, described by the team as a tall, defensive-minded player with a right-handed shot who enjoys playing physical hockey.

Defenseman Bodin spent last season with the Mora organization in Sweden, appearing in 11 Allsvenskan games and 28 U20 league matches, where he recorded six points (one goal, five assists).

Prior to that, he played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in Canada, contributing six points in 41 games during the 2024/25 season. Earlier in his career, he developed in the Örebro junior system in Sweden. Bodin has also represented Sweden at the U17 and U18 international levels.

Last season, Zemgale/LBTU featured three foreign players, all from Finland.
