The Greens and Farmers Union (ZZS) faction in the Saeima has decided not to support a proposal that would grant the government the right to inject additional funding into Latvia's national airline, airBaltic.
This was announced by ZZS Saeima faction leader Harijs Rokpelnis following a meeting of the Saeima's Budget and Finance (Tax) Committee.
The question of allowing the government to provide further financing to the airline was discussed during the committee meeting, but ZZS made clear it does not support granting such authority.
