AC Milan Refuses to Sell Pulisic Despite Interest from New York City FC
AC Milan has rejected New York City FC's overtures for Christian Pulisic, aiming to extend the contract of the USMNT star.

New York City FC has shown interest in acquiring Christian Pulisic, but AC Milan is not willing to sell the American forward. The Italian club intends to extend Pulisic's contract, which expires next summer.
Pulisic joined Milan from Chelsea in the summer of 2023 for €20 million. Last Serie A season, he scored eight goals and provided four assists in 30 appearances.
Despite the 27-year-old's contributions, Milan had a disappointing campaign, finishing fifth—17 points behind champions Inter—and missing out on the Champions League. The club has appointed Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim, formerly of Manchester United, as head coach.
In addition to Pulisic, Milan aims to keep midfielder Adrien Rabiot and goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
Meanwhile, NYCFC expects to open a new stadium next summer, anticipating a revenue boost. Pulisic is currently with the US national team at the 2026 World Cup, where he played only 45 minutes in the first two matches but has recovered and is ready for the decisive group game against Turkey.
