Renovation of Aizkraukle County Council building cost 5.2 million euros, no money for furniture
After a year-and-a-half renovation costing 5.2 million euros, employees of Aizkraukle County Council have returned to their building, but there are no funds for new furniture in the near future.

The Aizkraukle County Council building was one of the few municipal buildings in the country that had not been renovated since Soviet times. The renovation, which lasted a year and a half and cost 5.2 million euros, has allowed municipality employees to once again work under one roof.
However, according to Vidusdaugavas televīzija, furnishing the premises with new furniture will not be possible in the near future due to a lack of funds.
