A fishing guide in Alaska has found himself in an extraordinary situation while leading a trip near the town of Soldotna. Carter Brown was on a charter boat with his clients when he spotted a large grizzly bear on the shore. Instead of backing away, he picked up his camera and started filming.

The footage shows Brown calmly smiling into the lens as the bear stands just behind him and consumes a salmon. A second bear can be seen watching from a short distance. The guide later said the bear had eaten the fish right next to his head and that his clients were in complete shock.

Millions of people have viewed the video online, and it has spread widely. Brown himself says such unpredictable moments in Alaska’s wilderness are simply part of everyday life.

Although the scene has drawn admiration for the man’s composure and the bear's fishing skills, wildlife experts remind the public that being so close to a wild predator is extremely dangerous and should not be attempted.
