Antra Ozoliņa appointed director of social care centre “Tērvete”
On 30 July, Dobele Municipality Council appointed Antra Ozoliņa as director of the social care centre “Tērvete”. She brings more than 20 years of experience in education and leadership roles in local government.
The Dobele Municipality Council decided on 30 July to appoint Antra Ozoliņa to the post of director of the social care centre “Tērvete”, according to information from the local authority.
Ozoliņa has more than 20 years of professional experience in the education sector. She has previously managed educational institutions and held leading positions in the municipalities of Riga and Bauska county. She has also been involved in national-level projects, including managing projects funded by the European Social Fund.
In her new role, Ozoliņa says she considers open communication, mutual trust and precision essential values. She envisions the social care centre as a modern and development-oriented institution where both the needs and comfort of clients and the professional growth and well-being of staff are priorities.
The municipality has highlighted Ozoliņa’s previous work in education, local government and EU-funded projects, which adds a manager with substantial leadership experience to the social care centre.
