Survey: Reinsalu Leads as Estonians' Preferred Prime Minister Candidate
A new survey from the NGO Ühiskonnauuringute Instituut and Norstat shows 27% of voters favor Urmas Reinsalu for prime minister, followed by Mihhail Kõlvart at 24%. The poll was conducted June 8–14 among 1,000 eligible voters.

According to the latest survey conducted by the NGO Ühiskonnauuringute Instituut and research firm Norstat, 27 percent of Estonian voters would most like to see Urmas Reinsalu of Isamaa as prime minister.
Center Party leader Mihhail Kõlvart is the second choice with 24 percent support, while EKRE chairman Martin Helme comes third with 15 percent.
The remaining candidates trail significantly: Kristen Michal (Reform) at 10 percent, Lavly Perling (Parempoolsed) at 9 percent, Lauri Läänemets (SocDem) at 9 percent, and Kristina Kallas (Eesti 200) at 5 percent.
Compared to last month's results, the biggest change was a three-percentage-point drop for Lavly Perling.
Norstat includes the prime minister preference question in its weekly party support surveys once a month. The latest data reflect the period from June 8 to June 14, during which 1,000 voting-age Estonian citizens were polled.
