US Tightens Visa Restrictions on Foreigners Supporting Far-Left Terrorist Groups
The US State Department has introduced a new policy imposing visa restrictions on foreign nationals who finance, support, or incite activities of far-left terrorist and affiliated groups.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a new visa restriction policy targeting foreign nationals who support far-left terrorist groups. Rubio stated on social media platform X that the restrictions ban entry to the country for "left-wing terrorists," adding that foreigners who finance, incite, or assist such groups are not welcome in the United States.
The new policy, implemented in support of a presidential national security memorandum, will apply to individuals who have supported or incited terrorist acts, engaged in violent criminal activity or economic sabotage, and those who have financed, recruited, or provided logistical support to far-left terrorist and affiliated groups.
The goal is to protect US national security by closing visa opportunities for individuals who facilitate the activities of terrorist networks that threaten American lives, economic stability, and public safety.
Recall that last April, President Trump stated that his country needed "bold justice" to implement strict immigration policies. The Trump administration decided to cancel the temporary legal status of 530,000 citizens of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, making many of them vulnerable to deportation. According to The Washington Post, the administration was developing a mass deportation plan, with a figure of 1 million people per year mentioned in discussions.
