US Strikes Iranian Targets, Resumes Naval Blockade
The US military launched a new series of strikes against Iranian targets and announced the resumption of a naval blockade on vessels heading to Iranian ports. CENTCOM confirmed dozens of military sites were hit near the Strait of Hormuz.

In the early hours of July 15 (Kyiv time), US forces began another round of strikes against Iranian targets and declared the resumption of a naval blockade on ships traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas. The announcement was made by US Central Command (CENTCOM) on social media platform X.
CENTCOM stated that over 20 US Navy ships and hundreds of military aircraft are currently operating in the Middle East region, emphasizing that US forces remain vigilant and ready to act. Later on the morning of July 15 (Kyiv time), the US military announced the completion of a seven-hour series of strikes against Iran. CENTCOM confirmed that dozens of military installations near the Strait of Hormuz and in Iranian coastal areas were hit.
According to US military data, Iran has attacked seven commercial vessels over the past week, targeting civilians, resulting in nearly a dozen crew members killed, missing, or wounded.
Earlier, CENTCOM reported that on the night of July 13, under an order from President Donald Trump, the US began another series of strikes against Iran aimed at weakening its ability to attack civilian shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck US bases in Jordan and Bahrain on Monday, July 13. On the morning of July 14, CENTCOM announced the completion of another wave of strikes against Iran, hitting military targets in six cities.
