Avitela opens a concept store in the renovated Europa shopping centre in Vilnius
Avitela will open a new concept store in the Europa shopping centre in Vilnius, which is currently undergoing an upgrade. The store will offer a wide range of products from beauty to business-class computers and robots.
Avitela, one of the leading electronics retailers in Lithuania, has announced the opening of a new concept store at the Europa shopping centre in Vilnius. The store is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2022, coinciding with the completion of the first phase of the shopping centre's renovation. The entire upgrade is expected to be finished by mid-2022.
According to Irmantas Viliūnas, Chief Marketing Officer at Avitelos prekyba, the store concept is tailored to the Konstitucijos Avenue area, which is experiencing intensive development of offices and modern apartments. The new store targets consumers who value high quality and the latest technologies. Its assortment will range from beauty products to ultra-high-definition TVs, consumer robots, and business-class computers.
Eglė Juškienė, CEO of the Europa shopping centre, noted that the upgrade is the largest and most significant since the centre's opening. Upon completion, the centre will offer enhanced functionalities, a balanced range of goods and services, and pleasant spaces for meetings, work, and leisure.
Viliūnas stated that the company currently has no plans to expand its physical store network, as it considers the current ratio of physical to e-commerce to be optimal. He highlighted three main customer types: those who know exactly what they want and buy online; those who appreciate aesthetics and expert advice, visiting physical stores; and those who prefer virtual shopping. Avitela aims to balance these approaches and allow each customer to choose the most convenient option.
The new store will be the fourth in Vilnius operating under the Avitela or Elektromarkt brands. There are 25 such stores throughout Lithuania.
