Brief power outage hits part of Balvi
On Thursday evening, around 2,200 customers of grid operator "Sadales tīkls" in Balvi lost power for about an hour due to a network fault. Supply has since been restored.
A power outage disrupted electricity supply to around 2,200 customers of grid operator "Sadales tīkls" in the town of Balvi on Thursday evening, the company reported.
At around 8 p.m., the company announced that a fault had been registered in the local electricity network in Balvi. The disruption affected residents in the areas around Ezera, Vidzemes, Brīvības and Tautas streets.
The fault was resolved relatively quickly, with power supply in the affected area fully restored within about an hour.
