Three drunk cyclists caught in Bauska municipality in one day
Latvian State Police detained three cyclists under the influence of alcohol in Bauska municipality on June 25. Administrative proceedings have been initiated in all cases.

On Thursday, June 25, police officers in Bauska municipality stopped three cyclists who were riding under the influence of alcohol. The first incident occurred in Ādžūni, Īslīce parish, around 11:00 AM, when a man born in 1962 was stopped. His breathalyzer test showed 1.41 per mille alcohol.
Later that same day, shortly after 7:00 PM, two more cyclists were detained in Vecumnieki. A man born in 1978 was found to have 1.11 per mille, while a cyclist born in 1991 had a reading of 2.72 per mille.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated in all three cases, according to Rūta Strautniece, senior specialist of the State Police Public Relations Department.
