Bertāns and Dubai win Adriatic League championship

Latvian basketball player Dāvis Bertāns has won the Adriatic League title with Dubai, defeating Partizan Belgrade in the finals.

Dāvis Bertāns and his team Dubai were crowned champions of the Adriatic League on Friday. In the fourth game of the finals series, Dubai defeated Partizan Belgrade 83:81 on the road, securing a 3-1 series victory. Bertāns, who previously won the league in 2013 with Partizan, scored four points. He made both of his two-point attempts but missed all five three-pointers. The Latvian played 19 minutes and 54 seconds, grabbing two rebounds, dishing out three assists, recording one steal, committing four fouls, and posting an efficiency rating of one.

Aleksa Avramović led Dubai with 15 points, while Sterling Brown and Isaac Bonga each scored 16 for Partizan. Dubai finished first in both the regular season and the top-eight group stage. In the quarterfinals, they swept Spartak Subotica 2-0, and in the semifinals, they defeated Buducnost Podgorica 2-1.
