Tech news outlet TechCrunch will hold its Founder Summit at the SoWa Power Station in Boston, United States, on November 4. The one-day programme is a bootcamp for startup founders, aimed at the practical challenges of building and growing a company. With seven days to go, the organisers say tickets are still discounted by up to $100, and prices will rise once the doors open.
Programme
The event features two Q&A breakout stages and two interactive roundtable rooms. Sessions are planned on fundraising, hiring, product-market fit, AI strategy and growth. Founders can also join candid discussions with experienced operators and investors, and take part in live pitching with investor feedback.
Networking will run through the Braindate platform, which arranges one-on-one and small-group conversations. Official side events in Boston will extend the programme and let attendees meet the local startup community throughout the week.
Speakers
The organisers named several of the invited speakers:
- Kent Bennett, venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners: validating customer demand and recognising product-market fit signals;
- Vineet Edupuganti, Cogent Security: attracting ambitious talent and building a high-performing team;
- Chase Garbarino, HqO: building a category-defining company outside Silicon Valley;
- Dave Balter, True Ventures and Edisyl: sharpening a pitch for investors;
- Tina Tosukhowong, TDK Ventures: how investors assess startups on economics, scalability, competitive positioning and commercial timing.
