Other events tied to the anniversary
It was previously reported that ahead of Ukraine's Independence Day, musicians from Britain's Royal Marines band and Ukraine's Armed Forces ceremonial band jointly performed the song "Oy u luzi chervona kalyna."
Meanwhile, a fundraising campaign is being launched in Latvia to support the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers, timed to coincide with Ukraine's Independence Day.
