2-Year-Old Child Killed, Nine Injured in Car Accident in Brovary
On June 19, a traffic accident occurred in Brovary when a VAZ car drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with a bus. A 2-year-old girl died, and nine people were injured.
A tragic road accident took place in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region, on June 19 at 7:55 PM. According to the Kyiv region police, a 29-year-old driver of a VAZ car, while driving on Pryvokzalna Street, veered into the opposite lane and collided with a bus driven by a 54-year-old man.
As a result of the collision, a 2-year-old girl died at the scene. The driver and eight passengers of the VAZ sustained bodily injuries. The police have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers violations of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of a victim. The circumstances of the accident are still being clarified.
