Four Children in Latvia Contract Salmonellosis After Eating Dry Noodles
Four children fell ill with salmonellosis in April and May after eating dry instant noodles 'Reeva' without cooking. SPKC reports similar cases in other European countries.

The Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC) has reported that four children in Latvia contracted salmonellosis in April and May after consuming 'Reeva' instant noodles in their dry, uncooked form.
Earlier, the Estonian Food and Veterinary Service had detected salmonella in these Ukrainian-produced noodles. Similar cases have also been recorded in other European countries.
