Four Latvian hockey players record assists in Czech Extraliga games

Four Latvian hockey players registered assists in Czech Extraliga games played on Friday. The Extraliga is the top professional ice hockey league in the Czech Republic. The players who made the scoresheet with an assist were Kristiāns Rubīns, Jānis Jaks, Ralfs Freibergs and Haralds Egle.

An assist in ice hockey is credited to a player who helps set up a goal scored by a teammate. Assists are one of the statistics used to measure a player's contribution in a game and over a season.

The source does not say which clubs the players represent, what the final scores were, or how many assists each player recorded, so those details are not included here.
