Coca-Cola Halts Fairlife Dairy Production After Ransomware Attack
U.S. beverage giant Coca-Cola has reported that its Fairlife dairy subsidiary was hit by a ransomware attack, leading to a temporary suspension of production across the United States.

Coca-Cola disclosed to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that its Fairlife dairy company fell victim to a ransomware attack, affecting its production systems. As a result, Fairlife's operations in the United States have been temporarily halted, while Canadian operations remain unaffected. Fairlife is one of Coca-Cola's major brands, with estimated sales of $4 billion by 2024. Past ransomware incidents in the food and beverage sector, such as the 2019 attack on Arizona Beverages and last year's attack on distributor UNFI, caused weeks-long disruptions and empty shelves. Coca-Cola has not provided a timeline for restoring Fairlife's systems.
