Corsair unveils new gaming keyboards with control dial and a mouse with long battery life

Corsair has announced the release of several new gaming devices, including two keyboards and a mouse, all carrying a range of useful features. The company has also completed the acquisition of another gaming hardware manufacturer.

The new Skiff 100 and Skiff 100 Plus keyboards are nearly identical. Both feature a rotary dial that enables precise adjustments, sparing users from digging through complex menus in certain scenarios. It also serves as a convenient way to control volume and track selection while listening to music. The keyboards come equipped with 10-zone RGB lighting, a detachable wrist rest with a rubberized surface, and quiet membrane keys. The only difference is that the Skiff 100 Plus adds six programmable G-keys, which can be customized for in-game commands and macro sequences. Both keyboards work with PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation, with no software installation required. Pricing sits at $60 for the standard Skiff 100 and $70 for the Skiff 100 Plus.

In addition, Corsair has launched the Harpoon v2 wireless gaming mouse. Its asymmetric shape is designed to provide comfort during long gaming sessions. The mouse is built around the Marksman 26K sensor and features six programmable buttons. Battery life is rated at up to 140 hours per charge, and it is compatible with PC and Mac systems without additional software. The Harpoon v2 costs $70. All of these products are available to order immediately.

Separately, Corsair has acquired Trak Racer, a company that makes high-end gaming peripherals. Trak Racer is known for producing full-body racing cockpits and flight simulator accessories. Corsair already owns Fanatec, which specializes in high-end simulation racing hardware.
