Daniil Glinka, Estonia's second-highest ranked tennis player, failed to advance to the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Granby, Canada, on Sunday.
Glinka, ranked 167th in the ATP standings, lost to world No. 317 Philip Sekulic of Australia in three sets, 1:6, 6:1, 3:6. The match lasted 1 hour and 43 minutes.
The first set was dominated by Sekulic, who broke twice and allowed his opponent to win just one game. Glinka turned the match around in the second set, taking it convincingly 6:1 with two breaks.
In the deciding set, Sekulic started strongly on his serve, then broke to lead 2:0. Glinka immediately broke back to reduce the deficit to a minimum, but then lost his serve again.
