Dienas Bizness secures Recovery Fund support for digital transformation
The Latvian publisher of Dienas Bizness has signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency for Recovery Fund support to modernise its media processes. The project includes CRM systems, mobile apps and Smart TV apps.
The Latvian publishing company SIA "Izdevniecība "Dienas bizness"", which publishes the newspaper Dienas Bizness and the magazines Dienas Žurnāli, signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFLA) on 9 January 2025. The agreement provides support under the measure "Modernisation of media sector company processes", financed by the Recovery Fund. The agreement number is 2.2.1.5.i.0/1/24/A/CFLA/004.
Aim of the project
The project is intended to carry out the digital transformation of both publications. Its goal is to adapt to modern media consumption habits and to encourage interaction between digital and print media.
Planned results
By 30 June 2025, two digital solutions are to be introduced, namely customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
By 30 June 2026, the publisher plans to launch two mobile applications and two Smart TV applications. The functionality of existing platforms will also be expanded, including the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
