US retailers are selling DJI's compact Osmo Pocket 3 camera for $395 instead of the usual $499. Discounts also cover a gaming keyboard and wireless chargers.
DJI's compact Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera is currently priced at $395 at US retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and B&H Photo, down from its usual $499. The discount may appeal to people whose phone camera falls short for filming travels, daily life or other events.
Camera features
The Osmo Pocket 3 pairs a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a built-in gimbal, a stabilizing mechanism that keeps footage steady during movement. It has three built-in microphones and a 2-inch rotatable screen, allowing users to frame shots and review footage without reaching for a phone.
The camera can record up to 4K at 120 frames per second, and it can be connected to DJI's Mic Mini wireless microphones. According to The Verge, its results are often compared to those of pricier mirrorless cameras, without the need to adjust exposure or do heavy post-processing. It is small enough to fit in a pocket or small bag. A newer model, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, exists but is not officially sold in the United States.
