On June 19, the annual Herbal Market (Zāļu tirgus) opened in Riga's Dome Square, a tradition ahead of the Midsummer festival. This year, more than 260 vendors are participating, offering a variety of goods for the Līgo and Jāņi festivities. Shoppers can find Midsummer herbs, cheese, beer, and gifts for the Jāņi father and mother. The market is open until 7 PM, and sunny weather is enhancing the festive atmosphere.
