Dubai Police, the law enforcement authority of the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, has added a new hybrid supercar, the Lamborghini Temerario, to its tourist patrol fleet. The car produces 920 horsepower and expands the force's collection of luxury vehicles, which are deployed in places where many tourists gather.

Technical specifications

The Temerario is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.

Other cars in the fleet

The Dubai Police fleet already includes several well-known supercars:

  • the Lamborghini Revuelto, with a 1,070 hp hybrid powertrain;
  • the Ferrari 812 Superfast, with an 800 hp V12 engine;
  • the Bugatti Veyron, capable of speeds above 400 km/h;
  • the McLaren Artura hybrid supercar;
  • the Aston Martin Vantage, a sporty luxury coupe.

Purpose of the cars

The police mainly use these vehicles in locations popular with tourists. The aim is to strengthen police presence, improve public safety and build closer ties with residents and visitors. The luxury patrols have also become one of the emirate's recognisable symbols, reflecting its focus on innovation and modern technology.

In Germany, the base price of the Lamborghini Temerario, excluding optional extras, is about €307,000.
