Singing Policeman Nikolajs Puzikovs Leaves Police Force, Moves into Real Estate
Nikolajs Puzikovs, widely known as the singing policeman, has confirmed he no longer works for the police. He left the service at the end of last June and now works in real estate while continuing to perform music in his free time.
The well-known singer and former police officer Nikolajs Puzikovs has revealed that he is no longer a member of the State Police. He ended his service at the end of June last year and has since been active in the real estate sector. Puzikovs himself says he is satisfied with his new daily routine – he now works only on weekdays from Monday to Friday, while in the evenings and on weekends he continues to entertain audiences with his songs. Compared to his previous job in the police, which involved night shifts and 24-hour duties, he emphasizes that he has finally achieved a normal work schedule. Although he has hung up his uniform, Puzikovs stresses that the police profession remains close to his heart and he has no objection if people still call him the singing policeman. “I don’t think there are such things as former police officers. Everyone who has once worked in this field carries its values in their heart for life,” he adds.
