EasyJet to Offer Free Trackers for Children's Toys
UK low-cost airline EasyJet, in partnership with Life360, will distribute free Bluetooth trackers from late July at four airports to help parents locate lost children's toys.
British low-cost airline easyJet is launching a new initiative this summer to reduce family travel stress. Starting July 31, passengers at four UK airports—London Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Belfast—can receive free Bluetooth trackers for children's soft toys.
These devices, provided by technology company Life360, can be easily attached to toys. Using a mobile app, parents will be able to track the location of their child's favorite teddy bear or bunny.
Stuart Wright, customer director at easyJet Holidays, explained that for many children, a favorite toy is an essential part of travel, and losing it can spoil holiday joy. The idea came after a survey of over a thousand parents, which found that 55% would be willing to change their holiday plans to find a lost toy.
