Edgars Pujāts quits alcohol and smoking after his divorce

Latvian actor Edgars Pujāts has significantly changed his everyday life since his divorce from his wife Marta. According to the magazine "Kas Jauns", he has given up not only alcohol but also smoking. The publication describes this as a major turn for a man who, it says, struggled with addictions for many years.

A new chapter

The actor himself says he now feels full of energy and is content with his life. He describes the present as a new stage that began after the end of his marriage.

Asked about any romantic developments, Pujāts replied that he gladly enjoys the status of a free man. For now, he has not given his heart to anyone.

The magazine recalls that a year earlier the actor spoke very differently about his emotional state after the divorce. At that time he found it hard to come to terms with what had happened, and he said: "My heart is already broken." Now, the magazine writes, Pujāts looks energetic and cheerful.

In May, a grandson was born into the actor's family. According to the publication, the baby arrived during the May holiday days.
